Spread Kindness

As an advocate  and person with the disability with lots of lived experience  I just wanted to share with you as we go into finishing up the holidays of 2022 and going into the new year 2023 how important it is to spread kindness because I know how hard it is for families of children/youth or even adults with disabilities  during this time of the year. Many children with disabilities or other medical conditions spend time in the hospital during the holidays. Many families stay home unable to spend  time with other family members or friends here is why?  keep in mind different situations vary for each family   Here are a few situations why families, caregivers or person with a disability ( weather you are a kid, young person or adult with a disability ) may not be able to spend time with friends or family  Other families home is not wheelchair accessible  Family or friends may not be understanding in terms of disability and how it impacts your child or you as a family especially in te

limitless me

It started with IEPs Medical documents individual life plans Individual employment plans Psychological and psychosocial evaluations Is all documents that's supposed to grant me the life I desire But that's not always the case My IEP granted. Me the accommodations I needed in college yes thats all good let the document made me look like I'm not college capable, give me no pathway or actions for me to carry out in my adult life College GPA try to interpret my intelligence Framing all these documents into a file and looking forward to the chapter. society and statics and data imagines shall not be to prove what we can do Does any of these really matter as I embark on the limitless me Know who you are Not what society frames ❤️❤️ I am turning the page and just living limitlessly what makes is here...disability should not limit me..I am becoming all what i desire. when you live within you passions and aspirations and story thats what creates you lets get started.
