Meeting with District 19 School Superintendent


Great talk and meeting with District 19 Superintendent in May 2018 and he agreed to have disability awareness month added to the school calendar in this year school calendar expected this upcoming April 2019 hopefully.

Girl Empowerment Journey

Monday Motivation.. You have to be impacted by something To make a difference a take a lead.. Growing up with a disability.. being a girl especially for many years I was very shy and didn't have a voice.. I had trouble accepting my disability as a teenager my disability kept my out of a lot of activities especially in school Isolation has develop over time which also has an impact on my social and communication skills today.. I appreciate those who opens up their doors to get to know me as it's not always easy for me to open up My confidence limited me from shinning in many areas I doubt myself many times before I believe in myself.. At times I still face with these issues .. I grow over my time in college I gain confidence in my academics and so much more I gain friendships I gain acceptance. I was very involved on campus.. What my work of my platform of promoting self advocacy and inclusion in school and beyond does?

Becoming Ms Wheelchair NY 2018 as showed me my work is now more than just sharing my story of my life and what made me the advocate and leader that I am. Need a motivational speaker?
